PressReader Tip: How to Authorize your iPad with an existing PressDisplay.com Account

So you’ve downloaded PressReader for iPad from the iTunes App Store, fiddled around a bit but still can’t get your existing PressDisplay.com subscription to work?

Here’s a step-by-step demonstration on how to authorize your device with your existing subscription along with how to download single issues from the PressReader library:

Hope this helps and remember, if you’re enjoying PressReader on your iPad, please rate the app or leave a comment on iTunes!

Cheers,

-Michael

Good demonstration! However it assumes a subscription plan in place. How does this work with a ‘pay as you go’ account with no credits left? It seems to be impossible to buy a single issue on the iPad application.

A demo of that would be great!!

Hi feathon. Thanks for your comments.

We’ll definitely do our best to get some new demo videos up on the blog in the near future. In the meantime, I can tell you that Pay As You Go subscribers who have linked their iPads to their existing PressDisplay.com account cannot purchase newspapers through iTunes.

In order to download a single issue and pay for it via iTunes on your iPad, you’ll need to deauthorize your iPad linked to your “Pay as You go” account. To do to this, go into settings and swipe to deauthorize. Once this is done, please try your purchase again.

Let me know if this works for you.

      Cheers,
      Michael
